Detailed Narrative Description of Project:
Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) has as an aim of contributing to economic and social development in developing countries, and contributing to the promotion of international cooperation through undertaking lending and other financial operations. Since 1989 JBIC has implemented follow-up surveys of completed projects, to check up on whether a project which has been implemented is being well managed with positive results. For this reason, JBIC has decided to contract out this PEDAC Survey to KRI International. The survey covers the conduct of data collection and interview surveys of implementing agencies and target beneficiaries of nine JBIC-financed projects, focusing on socio-economic and environmental impacts of such projects on the target beneficiaries and affected areas. Also to identify the current status of use, operation, maintenance and management of the project facilities, as well as the project benefits that have been achieved

Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided:
The Consultant’s scopes of work include the following:
1. Provision of assistance to Mission Team in collecting data and information;
2. Assistance in improving content and collecting Project Completion Reports (PCRs);
3. Onsite surveys of projects that the Mission instructs;
4. Interview direct and indirect beneficiaries affected by each project regarding socio-economic and environmental impacts, which will constitute basic information for subsequent monitoring and post-evaluation by JBIC; and
5. Depending on the type of project, each independent evaluator made the corrections and comments on the English language version of the evaluation reports that have been prepared by the Japanese evaluators
