PKII Holds Company Bowling Tournament
For the months of August and September 2011, Philkoei International, Inc. (PKII) will hold its annual company bowling tournament at the Metropolitan Club in Bell-Air Village, Makati City. The bowling tournament started on August 12, 2011 with the participation of none other than PKII’s President, Peter S. Samoza, and PKII’s Vice-President, Zenaida N. Abad. Aside from participants coming from the main office and departments, other PKII staff from the project offices, such as PAGASA, ARISP and LANDBANK, went all the way to join the tournament. With various cash prizes at stake, six teams of six members each will bowl it against each other in single round-robin arrangement to determine the best scoring teams. The top two teams will then battle it out to claim the title of bowling champion along with the topmost prize.
During the tournament, PKII’s staff of various ages filled the bowling alley with mixed emotions of high spirits and youthfulness, along with high levels of excitement and competition. The PKII bowling tournament encourages camaraderie and fellowship between the new and old, the young and aged, and those in between of the PKII family, not only in the workplace but also beyond it.
